About the Volts Fanlisting

Welcome to the official Volts fanlisting, approved by The Anime Fanlistings dot Org. Please remember to read the Rules first before joining.

Taken from the anime/manga series Getbackers, the Volts was a group created to protect the inhabitants of the lower part of Infinity City (Mugenjou) from the citizens of the upper levels of the City, the Beltline and Babylon City.

It is headed by a man named Raitei (Thunder Emperor) whose real name is Amano Ginji and the Four Kings namely, Makubex (who a computer genius), Kazuki Fuuchoin (heir to the Fuuchoin style of fighting), Shido Fuyuki (Beast Master) and Masaki (who has the ability to control Light).

The Volts

THE THUNDER EMPEROR
Name: Amano Ginji
Alias: Raitei (Thunder Emperor)
Age : 19 (in the manga); 21 (I think, in the series)
Birthday : April 19
Info: Infamous leader of the Volts, he has the power to generate electric current through his body (imagine an electric eel). He also has an alter ego, the Thunder Emperor (a result of a childhood trauma) which is considerably more powerful than he normally is. He turns into Raitei ocassionaly, whenever he's extremely angry or someone threatens those close to him. However, he doesn't recall any memory of what he has done as the Thunder Emperor which eats at him. He was taken in by Teshimine Takeru when he was a child. He LOVES food, so donations are always welcome. He also has the uncanny ability to turn into an adorable chibi (little) character at will. Acting purely on instinct, he is very cheerful and fun-loving and with a certain charisma that eventually drew the Four Kings (most of the Volts members as well) to join him in establishing the Volts.


THE FOUR KINGS
Name: Kazuki Fuchoin
Alias: Kazuki of the Strings
Age : 20
Birthday : January 1
Info: Heir to the Fuchoin style of fighting, he uses strings (or metal wires if you prefer) as a weapon to cut up enemies or just eavesdrop for the lastest group gossip. He's the last heir of the Fuchoin fighting style because his family perished in a fire and he alone survived, along with his protector and best friend, Kakei Jubei. He looks so feminine, like your typical bishounen, and graceful, too! (can you imagine anyone fighting gracefully?) I, for one, want to join his fan club *waves a flag shouting, Go Kazu-chan!*. Also, he had his own group before he decided to join the Volts (because of Ginji, of course!).

Name: Fuyuki Shido
Alias: Beast Master
Age : 21
Birthday : August 12
Info: Shido has the ability to control animals with just a whistle. He descended from an ancient tribe called Mariudo. Unlike Kazuki, he's a loner and didn't have his own group before he joined the Volts. He also has the ability to mimic certain animal characteristics, like a cat's stalking instinct, or super sensitive bat hearing. He's the only one who has a girlfriend in the series (damn!) named Madoka, who is also a world-renowned violinist and is filthy rich (lucky Shido!).

Name: MakubeX (with the X added in to replace his unknown name)
Age : 14 (Truly? Kawaii!!)
Birthday : November 1
Info: A certified computer genius of immense proportions, he can create programs and simulations that can rival those in Mugenjou. He was found in a bag as a baby (by Radou Gensui, who later raised him) with only a piece of paper saying "Makube" as the only clue to his origins. Gen was the one who taught him of computers and he proved to be an apt pupil, surpassing even Gen's expectations. His computer genius certainly is a invaluable asset for the Volts.

Name: Masaki
Age : ?
Birthday : ?
Info: Masaki has the ability to control light and every facet of it. He also acts like Ginji's older brother and is always looking out for him. He is also a close friend of Teshimine Takeru.


OTHER MEMBERS
Name: Kakei Jubei (Jyuubee)
Age : 21
Birthday : August 21
Info: His weapon is the Flying Needles and he has sworn to protect his best friend Kazuki (other than that time when he triend to kill Kazuki! But they worked it out in the end.) He's VERY close to Kazuki that Ginji once said that Kazuki and Jubei act like a married couple. #_# Jubei has the most sexiest voice in the series, quite complimentary to Kazuki's softness (?), so you can draw your own conclusions here *cough*.

Name: Emishi Haruki
Alias: Bloody Joker
Age : 20
Birthday : May 16
Info: What would any series be without a character that provides comic relief (other than Ginji, that is) and that's exactly what Haruki Emishi is. Living up to his name, he leaves his enemies with a joke and covered with a lot of blood using his weapon, the Dancing Whip of Roran (which is made from strands of hair of the Roran women.) He can make strange faces as one of his jokes and often insults Jubei with the latter's lack of humor (have you ever seen Jubei smile?). He also admires Shido greatly and wishes to be like him. He can almost rival the Four Kings in strength, if he actually puts his mind to it.

Name: Kakei Sakura
Age : 23
Birthday : July 21
Info: Sakura is Jubei's big sister and also acts like MakubeX's caretaker (I won't delve into that too deeply *cough, cough*). Her weapon is Kakei Tapestry style, controlling that pink piece of cloth around her to do her bidding. So here's a strange state of affairs. Sakura's weapon is a cloth, Jubei's are needles and Kazuki's are strings. Sound like they're starting a sewing club. ^.^

Name: Toshiki Uryu
Age : ?
Birthday : ?
Info: Toshiki is a powerful fighter and has always wanted Kazuki's approval *cough* so that's why he is forever envious of Jubei because he thinks Kazuki only notices Jubei's fighting abilities and not his. He has always been attracted to Kazuki's gracefulness. Smells like something.. *cough* yaoi *cough* ^__^

Name: Kanou Joiya
Age : ?
Birthday : ?
Info: He hates Kazuki and the Thunder Emperor (wonder why he joined the Volts in the first place?), though he likes Masaki. He has the ability to control wind by using his fan (what IS it with men and their fan?!). He always dreams of power and ruling Mugenjou under Masaki.

Name: Kaoru Ujie
Age : ?
Birthday : ?
Info: Kaoru is a fire-starter and can generate fire at will. She likes men in power and is attracted to Ginji, (rather, more accurately, to the Thunder Emperor) for that reason (though Ginji doesn't return her feelings). XP

Of course, there are still numerous members of Volts, like Ren, Shuu and a whole bunch of others. I just introduced you to the elite members so you'd recognize them if you ever crossed paths.
